Pictures from Singapore: Sand sculptures at Palawan beach

We were lucky to be at Palawan beach in Sentosa while a sand-sculpture exhibition was in place... Awed by the unbelievably detailed and artistic sculptures, we stayed there for two hours more than we had planned to. I will be posting pictures of Sentosa and Palawan beach later, but until then, enjoy those of the sculptures.

I don't have much to write about those, because they tell pretty much everything. However, we did see a lot of artists who were repairing their works because vandals had kicked around and messed up when no one was looking around. Seeing that this was Singapore, a place where you could expect lashes if you were a guy with long hair and tattoo only a few years ago, it was surprising that people would dare to vandalize works of art. Then I realised that this was no UK, where Big Brother is Always watching you, so it must not have been difficult for the vandals to get away. Of course, it was just some small exhibition and the organisers were probably already prepared for this sort of thing. Still...Anywho, the sculptures are so cool nah?
