The fucking new york city doesn't have good shoes for decent prices you can put on your feet. For they are all for speculators, people who will buy them sneakers to resell later. This is the most ridiculous situation possible: actual shoe stores becoming 'banks' or stores of value, skimming off the 'investment opportunity' scam from poor, mostly black, folks. I'm not happy about the situation. Had to buy an excessively expensive shoe just because I couldn't find good reasonably priced ones. What. A. Fucking. Scam.
I'm not going to be needlessly worked up about this. There are bigger fish to fry in the 'self-realization' space. This is not a happy situation, however.
