BoOHoOoO [Friday 13]

Posting this super late on a Saturday afternoon because got up at midday today. Yesterday's mood related issues were likely caused by lack of proper sleep during the week, which was caused by the Tuesday fasting. Ate a lot and slept quite well today, and I feel like a new person!

On Friday, I felt a little bad about skipping the latenight routine on Thursday, but everything else worked out fine. Work was as usual, but they're sending me and a coworker to conference, possibly two in November, so looking forward to that! Had planned on going to the CVS but couldn't because of everything else happening.

Snuck out of work earlier than usual, and took the train back home. Collected my belongings for the sleepover at Prabhus and also hiking and swimming supplies in case we went that way. The trip back to work took forever because of the traffic, and the buses bunching together. Got off at downtown crossing and got to work with the guys. There was five of us, including p's two coworkers, one of whom was very loud and boisterous. We chilled about for a couple of hours, and went to hot eastern for dinner, at 9.20. As usual, we got mapo tofu, mushrooms, green veggies. We also got fried beans, which were incredibly tasty and crunchy. It was a pretty great dinner that reminded me how I've never had a bad meal at that place, or been disappointed.

After that P went to Hong Kong at Harvard Square, for dranks and hang. Our coupled roommates are trying to set him up with women, and last night was supposed to be grad student night in there. They had planned on getting me there to, but I didn't want to go because one, I don't drink so I feel like an idiot at a bar, and two, bars are like incredibly loud and annoying places to meet people if you're sober because you don't get to hear them and need to shout over others. What's the point, people. Anyway roommates were sad and disappointed they couldn't set me up, but I'm told P made the moves so exciting times ahead.

We took the train to prabhus and it took us a good portion of an hour, because the trains were weird and it was late at night and drunk old people were quite annoying and -- let me reuse that word here -- boisterous, which I find quite annoying. In any case, after we were back, I was so tired I didn't get the time to do my evening chores and passed out. Got up early in the morning for a bit, went back to sleep and got up at midday. Friday the thirteenth was a good day.
