Yesterday, I worked more on uploading the photos and sharing the albums/movies with concerned parties. More nostalgia etcetera. Listened to old hindi songs while I cleaned my room, and watched the 50-50 special from MaHa.
The ginger and habanero I'd begun dehydrating on saturday, I turned to powder in my grinder to use in my kombucha. They could legitimately be weaponized, which I told Blair, and he reminded that they already were. Brined tomatoes and Plums, and got started with dehydrating them.
Pr came back from his CT trip, and shared his friend's experience in Nepal for research purposes, and how him offering a lot of money (in village terms) to villagers for accompanying him created a conflict in the entire village. Su went to play cricket early in the morning, and really enjoyed it. Bl is way too deep in his fantasy football and feels strong emotions regarding player performance.
Talked to family traveling in Europe and made december and february plans, and talked to NP and talked Thanksgiving plans. There's a big contingency of almost 10+ friends gathering in Seattle next weekend, and they're going there too. After which they're driving down to SanFran over eight days and then flying back. I, as always, am going to be missing all of this, because of last weekend (September), October, November, December, and February plans. Actually, scratch that, I guess I have it alright.
I finally(!) started doing rigorous(...) physical exercise again! Since it's a part of my daily routine, I should have been doing it for like the last month, but I had had it so vague, it was difficult to define what wold be considered at working out, so I somehow snuck by in the confusion. Made the workout requirements more clearly defined and exact, and got around to working on it. I needed something that would be easy to accomplish, regardless of where I was and what the weather was like outside, but still worked my body out. I put in 'two circles around the block' as the requirement. That way, I can run around literally anyone's block, and two rounds is about when I start feeling something. I could always run more if I wanted to, but two rounds is pretty much almost achievable.
In other news that I forgot to share from the day before, I got packets of buckwheat and millet from the Nepali store, and am going to make pancakes out of them, for my staple diet. They're the most hilly-Nepali thing you can eat, and also pretty nutritious. I want to play around with recipes and profiles and textures a bit until I've found a couple of different ways to work with them to keep it interesting, which should be pretty exciting! Also set some soybean to soak so I can have sprouts to eat with kimchi! I'm planning to work with mushrooms, rice wine, and baking a bunch this week too, so a lot to look forward to this week.
