Big fat drops of rain as big as medium-sized limes fell onto from cloudless sky on Tuesday in my neighborhood, and it was a cause for great celebration. For, you see, it hasn't rained around here for a long time, and the forest-fire season (unfortunate it's become a standard term). It was glorious.
