My dear friend,
Whose name
Rhymes with broom,
He had I
Made many a plan
In days of yore
To drive down
And follow
The california dream.
Somehow we never did,
Except that one time
We did go,
All the way south,
TO the tip of Cali,
And fun was had by all.
Now that the holidays have a-come
It's time to make the way
And have something done, anything
The two of us, we had to come with a plan
To do something with all the free time.
A plan was thus hatched
To drive down for several days
Down to California, and Arizona
All the parks and the rest
Until we saw something fun.
Ah now, the day has come,
The car has arrived, and we are soon
On to be on the run.
The sleeping bags, have been a-packed
The foods and water ready to be bought
Our mighty adventure, unclear and unplanned
Ready to be set in motion.
Wish us all the luck
For may our attempts
End only in fruitful conquests!
