FAQ about who's got access to the git repo

Q: Who exactly has the owner rights to our git repos?
A: Some of our employees who don't work anymore had the access to the git repos in question. Due to security concerns, their privileges were immediately revoked, and we have secured the code in question.

Q: Who exactly owns the repo now?
A: As it currently stands, the threat party are not able to access the code and associated resources, and that is what matters, primarily. Second, we are working on granting access to other folks in various teams who will be taking over from those who have departed the company, so look out for that.

Q: Who is granting the access to the concerned teams?
A; The situation is as follows: the folks who were owners and administrators of the group granting access to new members are no longer working with us. And their access has been terminated. We are in a transition phase where the access transfers to other folks in question, so with that in mind we would appreciate if you showed some patience.

Q: How exactly will we be granted access?
A: Currently, we  are exploring various different strategies to solve the issue of granting access and controlling the repo and making rapid progress on all fronts. So stay calm folks.

Q: Does anybody in the organization have access, or the privilege to grant access to those repos?
A: no.

Thanks mElon!
