Trip to the red planet: a very short guide

Cheese, some string, buttons, coins of all kinds just in case, a good bottle of water, tooth brush and a comfortable backpack. These are the things you need to pack for a trip to mars. If you have vision problems, it might pay in the long term to also include a pair of glasses, in case something bad happens to your pair. But that's optional.

Now that you are packed up, the next step is to get an understanding of the red planet. In case you are not caught up to the latest interplanetary news, Mars has not been hospitable to living beings lately. Its hospitality is what has led it to be associated with the Roman God of wars. While there are currently no groups fighting with each other there, the geography of the place is described by even the most experienced travelers as 'challenging'. Add to the fact shops and bars are hard to come by, it is certainly not for the faint of heart.

Now that you have packed and decided you are up to the task, you need to find a proper ride. There are no scheduled regular flights or rides to the Red Planet but there are plans for commercial flights in the future. If you are not patient enough to wait for those, no worries, there are many scientific expeditions and commercial ships that are planing trips there, and are looking for volunteer tourists like yourself to make the trip! While the trip may be longer than circumventing Earth, by many times, the scenery is incomparable, and it will definitely be the most unique experience you could get in a lifetime. Imagine the ooohs and aahs from your friends and enemies as you post selfies to instagram and snapchat during your journey there, and after you get. It will truly be a once-a-lifetime experience, something a seasoned traveler should not let go easily!
