So the whole drama with Threads and twitter is just so great because twitter has been such a cesspit for...various reasons clear to anyone even remotely online, and even besides the current management it wasn't really vibing.
Hoping for Threads to steal all the users is 100% wishful thinking on my part, but I ain't no fan of f*ckerburg's company either. I've had my share of hate for that shitshow of a conglomerate.
But. If things go as they have been, and if threads keeps winning, I'm considering RE joining social media, after a retirement of ten years (or more) just to spite the rat. Only threads though, not gonna completely sell out on my principles, just strategically make one data point to make the less abhorrent platform seem better.
