Protected

In the innermost sanctum of the most secure facility within the protected zone there was a large cylindrical contraption with ancient hymns inscribed on its sides. It was surrounded by the oldest well-trained fighters ready to defend it with their lives. Not a bird could fly above without attracting attention, the floor was reinforced with twelve feet of reinforced concrete.

There was nothing they could do about the gnats and the insects. Those little critters crawled up the smallest of nooks, between the door, the wall joints, everywhere. No amount of powdering and spraying of insecticide got rid of these tiny pests. They were just a nuisance to be accepted inside the most secure facility they could get. Little did they know.
