It's 10.45 right now, and this shouldn't take too long. Here. We. Go.
I just left the house PK is doing laundry BB and AL are asleep. I was looking online for random stuff and questions etc. We watched Derry Girls on tv this evening. I had three boiled eggs and millet pancakes for dinner with the garlic sauce, good stuff. Talked to roommate BB about important stuff, confusing stuff before that. Unclear what I'm gonna do but gotta be something sometime might as well get it out of the way.
Spent a solid 45 minutes at Aldi after taking the Orange line straight to Wellington and taking the Bus to aldi from there. Good finds, lots of cheese, chocolate, gift chocolate, fruits and nuts. One of the more expensive Aldi trips but worth it. The post this evening was written during the busride back from Sullivan.
Solid day of work today, got the project I've been working on pretty much forever almost done, need to verify with manager before it's all set. Excited for that. Had no real lunch today because I had one of those classic 'me' breakfast sandwiches at the place below our work, but with a single egg because I wanted it to be a 'luxury' good and not a 'sustenance' thing. Cheap but feels luxurious. Whatever.
IN the morning I got up early but due to the queue at the restroom I had to waste 20 minutes for nothing. As a result I had to leave later than I'd have liked. We missed our first train (roommate PK and I) by ten seconds, the second train was way too full, so we went back two stops and took the third train. A commute that should not have taken more than 50 minutes in a regular day took us an hour and 15 minutes for no good reason.
Need to do 55 more of my pushups, cleanup and then it's bed time (after reading a couple of pages of the Genghis Khan book of course). The day didn't have too many revelations really, pretty low key, did nothing exciting or interesting. The only notable thing is how everyone at work kept saying it felt like a Thursday or a Friday. Talked about buying houses with coworkers and manager. Oh and I wore a T-shirt that's in women's cut, perhaps a tad too tight for me but hey it shows my curves and gains so I'm loving it.
