Morning was great, everything was on time etc, walked to Davis which made me really sweaty. Surprisingly enough, didn't get a seat on the red line which meant no writing. It wasn't awful but a sound surprise that there would ever be a circumstance where red line would have seats unavailable in the second stop.
Work was slow, lots of meetings, got some stuff done. Lots of coworkers leaving (co-ops) forever or for the holidays. Even those that were there would be working from home for the rest of the time, so lots of farewell etcetera. Decided to work from home for the rest of the days this week.
Lunch was surprisingly pleasant. Had an apple and 1.5 avocados. Just the avocados with salt and pepper sprinkled and bear honey drizzled all over it. Salt pepper honey go really well raw avocado, that was an experiment whose results I'm glad to report.
Commute back was regular, nothing interesting. Got sweated up on the walk, but that was it. Always the red line of course, barring natural blocks and it was an okay day to walk.
Back home talked to a bunch of roommates and friend-of-the-house ND was over too -- I'd promised to not have any plans after work. There was a drink-and-paint thing that a friend went to where I should have been perhaps ugh but i'd promised ND so we hung out a bit at our place. We ate the desserts that roommate BB had provided.
Got tired super early, and so did ND, so we ended up not talking much really. I was too tired for workouts and writing, decided to call it an early night without completing any of the todo tasks. Saw it as a friday since it would be the last day before the holidays. ND didn't feel well either, apparently, and went to bed early also. Lost a lot of productivity their and felt bad about it the whole day the next day, but got some much-needed rest.
Discovered and added a bunch of new food-related podcasts to my listening queue and also listened to a wide variety of podcasts, including Doughboys. I don't know if I can get as comfortable with all the podcasts as my current favorites, but I have to give em' a chance or i won't know.
Writing this on the Friday morning because all the Thursday posts were just skipped.
