Bees Bear Honey

Once upon a time there was a large bear who ate nothing but honey. He liked his honey fresh from the comb, every day from dawn to dusk he'd walk around looking for juicy honeycombs to destroy and plunder for honey. He had developed a great sense of smell due to his love of honey, he could smell it from miles away. Over the course of years he had developed detective skills to identify new combs. After destroying a come he'd hide in the bushes waiting for the honeybees to migrate to a different colony. He would track then and stalk them throughout the forest over many days and once they settled down in their new homes producing an abundance of honey he'd attack the new colony too.

The bees were tired of doing all the hard work while the bear enjoyed the fruits of their labor. They called a meeting of all the leaders of local bee colonies. They discussed the matter of the bear who was making their existence miserable. We need to find a way to scare away the bear forever, we need to teach him a lesson, said a bee. We need to give him a taste of his own medicine, said other. The bees decided to come up with a plan that would teach the bear to never bother them again.

So the bees started constructing a trap for the bear. They carefully selected a location and planted various traps around it and constructed a comb rich and dripping with the sweetest of honeys. The greedy bear soon discovered the location of the trap comb, and without putting any thought into it, pounced upon it. However he got a surprise he was not prepared for.
