Nothing good ever happens in Thamel. That's what they said. Radhika didn't want to take a taxi because she didn't trust them. She didn't care for them overcharging pretending the meter was broken and when you got home at four in the morning they needed you to pay twice as much because they'd miscalculated how long it'd take them, supposedly. She found it the most frustrating experience. The apps were better, quite a bit. You knew how much it'd cost and they couldn't bs about something or other not working. Besides the drivers were better somehow, less bitter more chill.
Public transport was out of question obviously.
