Alumni party [Monday 9]

Got up late due to the extreme soundness of the sleep, skipped literally every chore and task in the morning, just jumped into my clothes, out of the door into the bus and to work. The commute was alright considering how it's been lately, the regular route, and it took about 50 minutes to get to work.

Work was more social and productive than most days. They had empanadas for breakfast and they're one of the best things I've had in the morning. Kinda oily but with the right kind of fillings and dipping sauce, they could change the game. Lunch was boring beans and avocado, work after went pretty quick. Didn't want to stay around too much so left five minutes earlier than other days. Wait for the bus in Sullivan took a bit, but wasn't too bad.

Back home got some writing done, looked about, cleaned up and took a Lyft to the Alumni party in Cambridge. They had options for vegetarians, special plates they brought out, which was really considerate considering they are a barbecue place. Tried the non-alchoholic beer which was alright though the only reason I'd drink it would be to show other people that I'm not lame or a loser and seee I'm wasting my money too so you don't feel bad about wasting your money and your health away. I didn't know anyone there and had stupidly not told any of my friends or schoolmates until ten minutes before leaving. No one could come and I stood around lonely and pitiful until I finished eating, made smalltalk with folks around but couldn't stand it because it was so hot and humid inside and I was fully dressed for the coldest of winters so it was a river in there. Got out to get some air, it was raining, figured there was no point in going back so ordered a Lyft back home. 20 bucks for Lyft, 30 bucks for registration, fine whatever, my fault or whatever, it was alright and I'm not sure if I would go again if I didn't have anyone else coming with me. I guess it was my bad for not having friends though.

Back home the house was full with the gang of five (three old roommates, new roommate AL, semi-roommate I), and they were just chillin' and watching Kim's convenience. I joined, talked a bunch, watched tv, did workout, wrote a bit, went back, talked more, did some documentation work I needed to complete, and called it a day. Still need to complete 25 of my pushups and read a part of a book before cleaning up and heading to bed. Should be no more than 15 minutes.

As of late, the variable that's been affecting my mood negatively the most has consistently been the crappy commute either way. Our house texting group is just people shouting at how awful everything is and how we're fked that we had to miss the sixth train etcetera. Might want to consider doing something to change that. Also need to work on adding the new items to my checklists...I've thought that over for quite some time, and the general consensus (within all the different moods of mine) is that I should jump for it as soon as possible. Finally, I'm increasing my pushups to 30+30+25.
