The tulip plant is dead, long live the tulip plant

Ar(y) gifted me a nice tulip plant with four flowers that were ready to bloom a month ago. The flowers bloomed, I possibly overwatered the plant -- I didn't realize they didn't need any water at all, and now the plant is drying up and dying. I'm not clear whether I killed the plant, or if it reached the natural end of its life because it has flowered after all and it's been a month and there's not much sun or humidity in my apartment so I'm not super worried about the death of the plant. The other plants are doing fine, even the mint-like plant that's seven months old at this point. Still what a bummer that the plant is not healthy and is drying and will probably wither away.

At least it graced my apartment for a month.
