I am of course not the first person to suggest this, and there's this exact scene in the movie three idiots, and it's really funny when one puts it this way, but here's it anyway. You get sad when your friends do better than you. But you're there to support them because you did just as bad. One gets even sadder when your friends do extraordinarily better than you do because now you're all alone, lost confused, uncertain and unsure what to do in the future. That's perhaps the situation one finds oneself in, as Sb's situation has resolved himself and he can now change jobs at will and come and go out of this country as he desires. Which is very very far away from where I'm at right now.
Thee are of course happy times in reality, but for the very short period, one can pretend it's rough times, but we must carry on.
