The story of the Pied Piper

The pied piper pipered the children into the river, out of which they were saved by a group of fishing boats, we know that story already. What we don't know is the story of the beyond those events. Here. .Is. His. Story.

Few years went by and the piper piped by making good money but not really enough to make it worth it for him to practice for hours and hours daily, talk to potential clients, make connections, and maybe maybe they'll have a rat or cockroach or some other vermin infesting some other town to which he would have to travel convince the city folk and most importantly make them fully aware of the consequences were he to be not paid in full. Not worth his time he thought. That's when a friend of his told him that people West were making a lot of money through skills of people like him and he thought he'd give it a shot.

He went to silicon valley, became an influencer, then a social media strategist, joined a startup and became the chief of marketing until the startup went bankrupt because their product was really crap and got sued to hell by annoyed clients. He however soon joined another startup a coworker had helped found, took the helm of marketing right from the start and ran it exceedingly well for the three years he was there. The company was bought out by a much larger tech company and he cashed out his equity instead of waiting for it to grow. He was already a millionaire several times over and didn't really need much more.

The pied piper then opened up a boutique clothing store that sold only house brand. They made bright multicolored clothing, and thanks to his charisma and people skills the brand got popular real quick. They opened a second store in New York, then in LA, Boston, DC, and then the Middle East. After opening his thirteen store, in China, he was offered a billion-dollar buyout buy a large apparel company with the condition that he would stay with the company for at least four years and would not start a competing chain or company in the following six years. He considered his options for a month or so, talked to the family -- he already had a very beautiful wife who worked as a senior Architect at Facebook and two cute little kids -- and took it, this was his passion and he was growing old and tired so he'd take it.

The years went by quick and the piper family bought their fourth house and second boat. Their children went to the most expensive but useless liberal arts college in the East Coast (cough Hampshire cough). Mrs. Piper -- who had made quite a name for herself in her field but her story is irrelevant here so we'll call her Mrs. Piper -- quit her job and started a charity to help homeless kids and Orphans. After his agreement had expired, Mr. Piper joined the foundation, donated most of his net worth to it, and began working with the Gates to make things people for poor and unfortunate people in the world.

Mr. Piper died at the age of 92, peacefully in his bed due to Liver complications. Mrs. Piper lived on for eight more years, dying at 96 after breaking her hip bone while climbing down the stairs and getting infections at the hospital while being treated for it.
