Eating out is expensive as helll y'all

Was talking to ED about this the other day, when she mentioned American-style restaurants had gotten insanely expensive in the East Coast. But eating out in general has gotten out of control in terms of prices, way more than general inflation has. The serving sizes are smaller, the service more annoying, prices insane, and the expectations for tipping out of this world.

In Seattle it's hard to order a single appetizer and pay less than 35 bucks with tax and tips. That's...a lot of money, almost a week's worth of groceries even. Even after inflation and everything else. Get a drink and you're out by 15 dollaroos, and so on and so forth.

I was looking to order some prepared meal subscription service, to test things out and uhhh there's some pretty unbelievable happening there too. Like who the hell on earth is paying 11 dollars for a single frozen meal that's delivered to your house? Insane.

At least fast food is decently priced, despite everything else.
