The other day at Trader Joe's

The other day
at Trader Joe's,
I saw the most
beautiful woman
I had laid my eyes on
this month,
maybe even a year,
her skin was shimmering
somehow
in a pale haze of dark-gold
and
somehow
she had the exact things
in her basket, that I did
and she reached out
for the bruschetta dip
right as I was going for it
she looked at me
and smiled.
I was
otherwise occupied.
It was a great podcast
to be honest.
Do I regret?
A little bit,
but what great comedy
that was
(which I was listening).
We live in the golden times
of entertainment,
but perhaps not the best
for personal connections.
Perhaps
It all fits
Like a
pu
zz
le.
