Review of 'Peep show'

 This is a weird one.

The Peep show is supposed to be a classic, one that brought the inimitable Davit Mitchell into the forefront of British consciousness. It's funny, that. Just...so...weird. And not necessarily in the strange British way, like The Office. It's awkward in a more personal sense, a more sad and pathetic manner.

The characters are all sad and lonely and desperate losers. There's no audience pov character,  David's character is hard to identify with, which is not a surprise.

It takes a bit to get used to, maybe eventually you'll love it, but it goes in easy.

Recommend at least the first two seasons. The last two seasons are inconsistent though very watchable.
