Limiting caloric intake to reduce weight

There's no value in spilling too much digital ink over this point: I've been eating a lot less than what I do usually as of late. And the reason is that I need to reduce my weight. Earlier this year I put on a couple of extra pounds, mostly under the chin, that hmm lets say add extra years to my look and reflect quite accurately the state of my physical well-being. Which I would prefer not to communicate so clearly, considering I'm going to be traveling around the holidays and meeting people, hopefully new people, and being seen as a tubbier guy is not ideal. I'm dieting. Only one meal a day. Around 3.30 in the afternoon. I'd have thought evenings would have been harder but I drink tonnes of water, and mornings aren't too bad either. At work I drink several cups of tea and hot chocolate so that holds my sanity until I get home to eat rice and veggies. Takes a while to 'digest' it because of the long gap in consumption but otherwise it's been quite okay. This is probably the least I could get away eating...a meal every two days would be a bit much. If I can maintain this for a couple more weeks and maintain my physical workouts, I'd be in a skinny enough situation, chin-wise at least.
