Helping others, being a wall of support for people I care for

One must wonder, during tough times and rough days, if this is the way things will always be, if struggle is the way of the world, and if stability is an illusion.

And then in a blink of an eye one discovers, of course, things get better, and being in a nice place of stability and comfort, of good advice and powerful provocation is not just a choice, it's a necessity if one wants to be the tide that raises all the ships of one's life. After all the world's a crazy people, everybody's dealing with there own shit and a large number of people are unable to deal with the shit the world puts with them in the shitgrinder of life. We are social beings, we need friends and family to help us sort through life. And the best people to help us are those who have the option of choosing stability, of power, strength and knowledge, and offer us valuable lessons.

So when one has an option to be in such a position, it would not just be unwise to choose otherwise, it would be unethical, socially. TO be a part of a large group of family and friends in a supportive role, as a foundational block but also in a maintenance role is a great honor and privilege that somebody should wear with pride. The ships that rise with the tide pull one up too, and from there the only way is further up.

You have to be a fully-functional, has-shit-together, brave, stable, hardworking and not-lazy person in life for yourself obviously, but also so that you can be a resource to your friends and family who need assistance and guiding getting there themselves. It's a wonderful place to be in, and totally worth the hard work, dedication, and the rejection of minor worldly pleasures such as watching youtube comedy clips during work hours.
