Such a mice guy

There's a small mouse running around in our apartment. We discovered it a few weeks ago, and it's been getting more and more audacious by the day. Last night it was chilling openly in the kitchen, lights on and everything while we were in the other room. We discovered a load of bread that it bit into and ate chunks off of, but we haven't had too many mouse-caused damages yet.

About ten minutes ago, roommate Su saw the mouse in his room and chased it away. It ran away into our shoerack and hid within the shoes. Roommate P called roommate B to attack the mouse, we got a broom but B didn't see the mouse escape, perhaps it was too small or from the wrong angle. I saw it run halfway to somewhere else but B didn't catch it and the little mouse took the chance to escape.

Su thinks the mouse has made a house in his room and poops in there. P's door has the floor gap taped, so it couldn't have gone in there. I'm a little concerned it could be spending in my room. There's a big hole in the radiator in the restroom, so it's possible it's smuggling into and out of the apartment from there. Stay tuned for more updates.

My honest opinion on the issue is: if the mouse is not causing too much damage, and doesn't spread diseases around, we should let it hang out and not be overly aggressive towards it. But then it's been eating our food and it can't be to healthy to share your food with mice, and if it's pooping and making babies and possibly dying in our apartment, it could be a problem. I dunno, if we could negotiate with the mouse, I'd vote for that, the little guys doesn't seem to be into that.
