Got up in eastern time, 6am PDT, worked for many hours.
AS's favourite breakfast he's been eating on the reg for the past six month is the frozen paratha with two eggs in it. Had that, it was pretty tight and filling. During lunch, we went out to the roof and I saw the true might of Seattle for the first time. My mind was blown. It's got a huge mountain, Mt. Rainier jutting out like a pimple in the near horizon in one direction, and a range of other minor snow-capped mountains on the other. Both in the East and in the West there's bodies of water. There's the Space Needle, the sign of the retrofuturistic vision of humanity which juts out remarkably out of the skyline, a few short blocks away from his place. Fantastic views, fantastic scenery. Amazing mindfuckingblowing weather. The weather I'll write something deep on later. Lots of stuff to process and write. Later.
After my work, we walked over by the nearby parks, to the Olympic statues, and over to the dock that puts grains into ships. It was cool. So much sea, so many parks, such cool people. Oh and the flowers -- lots of Rhododendron here, the national flower of Washington -- are so pretty, more on that as well.
In the evening, A's two siblings came over and I had a great conversation with them. They cooked us rice and dal and cauli and in exchange I offered advice on the tech industry, finding jobs and all of that. Productive conversations were had.
Slept pretty late, maybe we smoked, I don't remember, but the dinner was fanta-fucking-stic.
