I explore Seattle, groceries, great meals [Thu 15]

In the morning, we fried the leftover rice from the previous morning with lots of eggs. Work was the usual, I was way too tired to think and function properly early in the morning, but that's how life rolls now.

Headed out to explore the neighborhood during lunch, some great street art around.  Went to the Pike place market and saw all the shops in there, it was pretty quiet and lame there, not too many independent stores. I figured it was the pandemic and what not.It was not the case, we'll get into that. Came back home, rested for a bit with A.

After work I went about exploring the town, the groceries more specifically. There was a massive H-mart nearby. It was cool, love H-mart here, so different from the expensive as f place in Central Square. But there was this packet of chip, cassava I think, that was seventeen bucks, I don't know anything that'd justify the price unless it was made of literal gold leaf.

Also saw the large 3-storeyed target-and-cvs combined place which looked quite strange, because it was spread out and uncarpeted and there was so much empty space not doing anything. It felt confusing, discombobulating. Mentioned this to a bunch of people.

Back home we got (something) for dinner, smoked a bunch, and I tried introducing James Acaster to AS who wasn't particularly interested in that brand of comedy. Ah well. As again, slept in a strange time.
