Lots of sun, hanging with I, intense walks, walk in the part, Bruce Lee and drinks, touristing in Seattle [Fri 16]

This was one HECK of a hectic day, did so many things this day, nothing's ever going to do this justice. Even after ten days of the fact, I  still remember how tired we were by the end of this.

For breakfast we had fried rice with eggs, yum, but so much rice, it was getting out of control. During lunch and later A and I chilled in the sun, it was cool and breezy but also comfortably warm. We talked about the city, our plans for the future, and how so frickin' weird it is that I find myself in Seattle.

Left work early because...I want to say Friday was off, or something, but it appears I just bailed out with some bs excuse. Because I was coming from Cali, met them in Downtown seattle, got caught up, took the tram to our hotel, and hung out there a bunch. Put on the office on loop on the cable tv there, showered, changed, and got ready for touristing in Seattle!

Had lunch at a nice German Doner Kebab place in South Lake Union before getting started. I got the spicy tofu sandwich, it's important to the story because I'll finish the entirety of this sandwich two days later.

Walked all around Seattle, specially around Republican St, and the corner with the highway where there's a bunch of cool motivational posters. So inspiring, I'll never stop finding this city so...motivated, quirky and very different from Boston.

Crossed a massive highway with a pedestrian bridge, it felt very weird because cars were zipping by right next to us. It was quite an uphill climb and by the end of it we were sweating and panting and couldn't think straight.

Stopped by park, chilled for a bunch, took photos with statues, and walked to the cemetery to see where Bruce Lee was buried. We got lost a bunch and the walk got more and more long, and we were getting dehydrated. We went to the Bruce Lee memorial anyway, but unfortunately there was a couple drinking cocktails next to it, sitting comfortably on the bench as if chilling in Lee's room, so we bailed on that. It took us forever to get out of the place because the cemetery gates were locked for the most part and google didn't know about that. Walked back to the other part of the down, down like a billion steps until our legs were shaking.

Went to a cute bubble tea place to hydrate ourselves. Got large drinks, we had high expectations for it, since Bubble tea was originally a west-coast thing. It was mediocre, we weren't impressed and also they didn't have popping bubbles even though they told us they did.

Walked back home, rested and showered. Got out to the markets, bought a massive nachos order, cheetos, and Mike's Hard Seltzer. Got home, devoured the food, and made a very significant dent in the food. Drunk, very full and tired, slept quite soundly.
