DC drive, pizza night [Friday 15]

So so so unproductive day, didn't get much work done. Didn't get much writing done either. More anecdata to back the claim I've been making on the direct relationship between productivity at work and personal productivity. Anyway, we had potatoes eggs avocado and the bread I'd backed from the night before it was great.

Didn't write anything the entire day, in the evening N went out for sleepover, P and I went to S's for a couple of minutes, and we drove around DC until late at night. Came back home so hungry, I made cheesy pita as food for food while we baked pizza.

The pizza was great actually. So much cheese and not much vegetables, but despite everything else going wrong the base of the pizza was fairly spotted the cheese bubbled and burned the right amount the base rose as much as you can reasonably expect from a thin-crust pizza. So good two days after, even while it's cold. Good achievement.

Fun fact about the pizza, as it happens somehow like the six people/groups we know all happened to have pizza night on the same night without any kind of coordination. What a coincidence right? Wonder if there's some subliminal messaging in the social media or the internet going on or if it's that some kind of weather corresponds to certain kinds of foods? Dunno if that theory makes sense though, apparently it was pizza night for folks in Nepal, as well in Northern Virginia.

Went to bed after pizza, hung out for a bit talking and just crashed while trying to fill the day's worth of posts. So full and content oof, that was a good dinner.
