Sunbathing

This week has been good for bathing in sunlight. I put myself down on the throw picnic blanket turn my face and palms towards the sun smile and soak in all the sunlight. So filling so so so filling

Sleep in the sun until so dehydrated head starts spinning the stomach says oop so much food is it food or is it sunlight because I'm so full oh man and I'll be belching out rays of sunshine the skin starts tingling and the skin almost burns in parts where you have thick dark trousers on. Close your eyes look at the sun appreciate the red you see is the bright light making the blood in your eyes cornea etcetrea visible  look at the clouds, tufts of cotton forming and disappearing in the clear deep blue sky finally gathering enough momentum into growing and growing and growing until they look grey and the air gets a little chilly. When the big scary clouds block the sun the warm potent rays of the sun go away and the cold chilly air makes it impossible to stay out without a light jacket. And suddenly it's way way too late in the evening you need to pack up dinner time and do other things and ahh you're dizzy perhaps the dehydration and the too much chilling stumble into the house while still radiating heat the apartment is supposed to be cold you find it warm because you're still radiating heat drink several cups of water and then. Cool relief. Satisfaction.

Good times.

Things are awful and terrible and awful in the world and there's not much to look forward to people are suffering dying struggling and it's not a great time sunbathing is one of the few pleasures of life you can still have, get the most of it while you still can. Like a sunflower.
