Workfires and jazzlinners [Tuesday 5]

This is next morning 8am, didn't get to write this last night, was too tired and giggly and passed out with no recollection of when how or why.

In any case, before passing out, spent the evening talking to roommates hosts parents even at this point figuring technical things for imovie, forcing myself to write that half-assed piece of attempted satire. Ate way wayy too much cake for 'dinner', and then two slices of bread with strawberry cream cheese because munchies, stomach still hurts more than twelve hours later. The original plan was to skip dinner entirely because the late linner had been large that's life things don't go the way you plan.

Before that, from six to nine abouts, talked more about people we know and used to know what they're upto how it's been ten years since we got here and that's a freaking scary concept to comprehend my stay here and return to normalcy and other locations, future plans, projections into far future people's failed attempts to set me up with someone anyone ohdeargods and travels and celebrities we know and how no one in our year is popular and who we hang out hung out with in Kathmandu so on and on. Not getting facebooktwitterinstagram to stalk just even talk to people even if that means one'll end up sad/psychotic that's a better trade than the alternative was the realization.

Right after work ended, used the available resources aka leftover momo ko achar from four days ago, bean salad from three days ago and alu ko chop from two days ago and turned into a chat/mixed vegetable, added spicy green sauce from trader joes, served with microwaved muri bhatmas and mulaaa ko achar from five days ago. People were confusingly impressed, taking things and throwing them together in a bowl barely even heating them never got so much appreciations. Calling it a jazzlinner because jazz=freestyle, linner=lunch+dinner.

Work was fast and busy, messed up couple of things at work hurried to fix it, jumped into other projects got a lot of writing done a lot of it fiction. For this month for every day I've written I've averaged a thousand words there so if I can get upto 250 words per post in this blog I'm at 2k words already which is not too far from the 3k words of written shit I bragged to people about.

Brunch at 10, had the potatoes from the night before with homemade bread, eggs and avocado and fruits. Eggs I got my grubby hands in so they were crispy in the bottom and yolky at the top so one win for that style of eggcooking.

It was quite cold, just as it is today brought firewood from the trunk of the car, set half the log on fire N enjoyed it the most but good times were had generally by all. A win-win-win. Still haven't convinced folks to cook sekuwa in the indoor fireplace in the living room but we're getting closer I can feel it. The next two weeks are all cold and cloudy and depressing but also social-distancing-encouraging a great opportunity for fun and relaxation right inside the house!
