Morning snow, Pho-nominal Viet lunch, child matters, at the child's play place, long convo with Sb in SF, kimchi fried rice maseura dinner [Mon 1]

It snowed in the morning-we had the 'flurries' which wet the ground and bodies of those outside but the snow did not stick. For morning lunch we went to Pro-nomenal viet restaurant in Ashburn. It was extremely mediocre, nothing good I can think of. Niece cried and threw a tantrum because she wanted ketchup all of a sudden, she wasn't okay with the available sweet dark sauce. After fifteen minutes her parents foraged candies from somewhere, it was its own thing.

We went to a child's play place, with dozens of inflated castles and slides etcetera. Niece didn't feel like playing at first but eventually got the hang of it, but in the end she absolutely resisted playing with any other child, despite other kids wanting to be friends with her.

Back home, talked to Sb who's in SFBA for an hour, about home buying plans, moving to Sacramento and savings and finding a new job.

For dinner ED made kimchi fried rice, so freaking scrumtuous, with mascara.

This was the last evening before work began in the new year!
