He was taken advantage of, your honor, used as a middle-man in evil-people's evil deeds. As we've stated in the affidavits, he was contacted by a man calling himself Thaggu Singh Shantawa, who was successfully able to convince him that it was a legitimate operation from abroad. He had no way to know it was all a fraud a scam to rip money off of poor Nepali hardworking workers, my client is a victim in this case too.

Remind us, one more time, the evidence that establishes the relationship between the so-claimed third-party and your client Thapa ji.

Your honor every time a victim has contacted my client, he has called the manager abroad to communicate to him the state of the matters, and communicated the information back. The call logs provided show that.

Hmm yes, yes, the call log. So what's the explanation behind the occurrence that the longest of the calls appears to have lasted four minutes, and the general call length being less than thirty seconds.

My client is a straight-to-the-point man sir, and communicated effectively, and was given short answers by the Shantawa entity, he had nothing to communicate except the minimal message, and that's what my client communicated back.

I see, I see, excuse me, sorry cleared my throat there. So you're saying that on one hand your client is a to-the-point man, and yet what was communicated to him in less than a minute, he took over ten minutes to communicate with the victims on average?

That is correct your honor, my client is an honest kind person, he didn't want to give in the bad news straight away and so expanded the information, gave emotional support to people who thought were his clients too.
