An uncessary discussion for a class trip

I'm cheating a little by writing down the characters, realized my exploration of these structures isn't advanced enough to not use the crutch. I'll get rid of these when I get better. Fiction, obv.

Characters [4]
A: Doesn't want the trip to happen, enjoys playing foot ball.
B: is science oriented, wants to figure out what's happening.
C: is into popular culture, wants to go to the trip
D: just likes to talk and bullshit, funnyman is he?

You know a great man once said, don't let your past dictate your future. We should pay attention to that. Why should we let what happened to the senior batch's experience affect our mood and journey, after all are we not smarter greater than them. We have the benefit of hindsight and we are a democracy, so many great voices are heart. That makes us wise. And as wise people we shouldn't just blindly do what has been done before us, we need to evaluate our option. Even after evaluating our options we come to the same conclusion as we did without thinking about them what is the world going to think of us. No no guys we must make the trip, I don't know if it's going to be complete but go somewhere we must.

What are you even talking about man, that is such a stupid idea. Like imagine if George Clooney did something, then why the heck would Christopher Nolan do the opposite in the Batman movie just to show that he's different. Every issue needs to be thought for itself otherwise it's just doing the opposite thing. Like Trump did with Obama, look at whatever Obama did and do the exact opposite, because that's what a smart person with opposing viewpoint would do. No we should evaluate our options for their benefits. But yeah I agree with you it seems like a good idea despite it seeming like we're doing the opposite just for the sake of it.

Why are you just messing around with me, we agree no, that we should go, like they said great minds think alike but if you're going to be differing to me in the point despite agreeing in the substance, it'll become one of those situations where one of us needs to shut up because if we're both in agreement the words are just being wasted. Since I started first it's my thing, and I say we go, even this fool agrees with this.

Guys guys guys. Think about a football game. Or any sporting game for that matter. How do you get better as a team and as individual players. You look at your competitor's past play, adapt your tactics to beat them, train for it and when you meet them in the ground you're prepared for it. You don't say, oh they did this then so we'll do the opposite. That doesn't make sense. So when we're looking at the seniors' actions and how they reacted to the changing field, and evaluate if we want to be in their places. And we want to be safe right, not be in trouble? Is the fun worth it? Because our victory in this case might be to pause and wait for a different occasion to go out. A draw is not a loss, always remember that.

I don't follow, who is our adversary in the case of your metaphor?

The circumstances.

I agree, that makes sense to me. We must look at all the experimental information that has been collected, analyze that and come to conclusion. And upto this point it seems that evidence suggests that going on the trip has caused great trouble for parents and teachers and several folks have gotten expelled too. It would be foolish to ignore the evidence and just go for it.
