What really happened on Jestha 19

Take an event from history and write a fictional account describing a conspiracy theory about what "REALLY" happened. Or, if you prefer, write a scene about a character who believes in one or more conspiracy theories.

What are you trying to say mister? That Alien, creatures from another planet came in our country, entered the palace, carried out the massacre, accused the former King and escaped? Is that what you're saying?

No sir, not directly. In reality I believe they took the form of the then-Prince, so everybody was in their right minds when they blamed it on the prince. It wasn't the fault of the investigation committee or anything, it is our belief that the investigations were thorough and there is nothing missing, as far as known facts are concerned. However, our study suggests that it couldn't have been Prince Dipendra because he was in the other room. When they said Dipendra shot Dipendra, it was true, except it was an alien being in the form of the Prince who shot him. The human brain is a strange being, if it sees something that cannot possibly be true, it convinces you that it was an illusion, and makes lies to replace reality. Since two people who look exactly the same couldn't have been real, that is what the onlookers 'think' they saw.

Ohhh, I see what you're trying to say. Now if I tell this to my coworkers, they will think I have lost my mind and send me to the sanatorium so explain to me why the aliens would have come to our country of all places and taken those actions. Despite there being much more important nations and people, why would they interfere in the affairs of the royal palace which then had limited experience in the matters of the state, let alone external variables or even matters outside the planet.

Yy-yyes, that is what I'm going to explain now. It is our belief that the Royal Family was in possession of something of great value that had been in the family for many generations. We cannot yet ascertain the exact period of time it must have stayed in the family, but it has been suggested that the Shah's may have had it since the fourteenth century. According to some research that I cannot verify, some are even suggesting that the Shah's may have had it in their possession before they became Shahs from Khans. There is not enough evidence to support it yet, but the theory goes that this particular Khan clan had to create their own Kingdom in the mountains, protected from the attacks from bigger powers to keep the precious belonging safe. Some have suggested that the major families in Nepal were the powerful rulers in what is now Western Pakistan or Afghanistan, possibly even Iran, and spent a few hundred years fighting their overwhelmingly powerful foes and running away from them, basically hiding their identity and their prized possessions. The hills were easier to defend, the mystical object, or objects, we don't know the exact number as of yet, simpler to hide within the mountains.

Ohhh, this is a theory I haven't heard yet. So you are saying the Royal family had been hiding a precious object that the aliens wanted. Can you tell me then why this was the exact moment they decided to attack the palace and commit the great massacre?

Yes...yessir, I can, and for this we have the greatest evidence. It has not been made clear what the purpose of the party in the palace was that night, and why only the King's least favorite brother and his family was not invited. We know now that shahjyada paras and later the Crown Prince was there only because Crown Prince Dipendra invited him, as they were friends since young. And as we are all aware, they were also of the same group in...in...certain hobbies. We believe that the late His Majesty had decided to fully reveal the awesomeness and power of the family artifacts in that exact event, and take back what his family had given up a thousand years ago. Again, this is just hypothesis, but some are suggesting that the exact...the exact event was supposed to be a thousand-year anniversary of the family having hidden their source of power and been on the run, and the King was finally confident with all the matters, and the fact due to the...you know...the rebellion...it was...it was time for it to be put to use.

So you are saying there was something the late King wanted to use at that time? What was it? Was it a big Khukuri? What could have been so important that they had dared endangering themselves for it?

I...sir...if I say, it'll...it'll be hard for you to believe...it.

No trust me, it's not anything beyond what you've already said.
