Seattle winter is crispy cold, that's the best succinct description I've heard of it. But it is still 'cold' and not like say Kathmandu winter day where you could almost 90 without a proper jacket. I'd somehow forgotten about the 'cold' part so being back has been a bit of a surprise since the temps have dipped and it's actually proper jacket season. The good news is it doesn't get much more cold than this. The bad news is, it's already getting close to as cold as it gets, and it's no joke for reals.
What needs to be repeated is this-I still love Seattle for its weather and that hasn't changed. Besides, the three or four days since my return have been unseasonably warm and sunny, which on one hand, fantastic, but on the other, a bit of a tease, yeah?
