First international flight to/from Seattle-experiences

I realized this only after landing in Seattle, but this was like my first international trip to/from Seattle.. I have traveled internationally thrice since moving here, but all trips have been from the East Coast.

The departing journey wasn't anything'to write home about, specially since my trip was to LAX, but post-landing was interesting. First, they make you collect your luggage before going through immigration, which was a unique experience. Second, the immigration hall is much smaller than the other US airports I've been to, so that felt cosy somehow. And third, because everything is so much closer, the immigration agents feel not as intimidating. And actually, they've really improved on the process because I didn't get asked anything at all. So that was pleasant and quick.

I had a really inconvenient piece of checked-in luggage with me, took the cart all the way to the parking lot, got ride in the shuttle cart, took the luggage up the elevator, and in the train. Got off at the link stop, up the elevator and took the 10-back at er, so the journey was not inconvenient at all!

This was a new experience and I feel like I learned so much. Good times.
