An Ode to Aurora Avenue North

Oh Aurora Avenue North,
To Seattle you a wide variety of experience you bring forth,
All the fun things to deal with with drug dealers on your bus,
And how to survive when the guy next row smokes mess without a fuss,
Oh Aurora, arurora, Aurora, you are so great
Unregulated prostitution and open-air drug market is your game
The house by your side, they burn down all year long
And for such greatness Oh Aurora, we write thee this song!

Aurora aurora, oh Sweet Aurora North,
Where walkways for pedestrians exist none,
The motors travel inside city streets at highway speeds and then some,
Safety and security, that's not really your way,
Oh aurora you make us see the real light of the day!

Oh Aurora North where the trees and bush grow out wild
The city's basically abandoned you in your full natural pride
Rules and regulations, they exist only in the controlled world
Oh Aurora, I've seen people burn tables on you in the winter's cold!
