Illustration plans for the blog

This is the third post on the topic of drawing and illustrations. I started with practicing some illustrations for the fermentation blog because drawing explicit ideas and concept would be easier than drawing abstract ideas like leadership or kubernetes. Then I moved on to stick figures, like Julia Evans' blog. Most of the illustrations or stick drawings took about 15-25 minutes per 'theme' which seems reasonable. When I get better at it I'll probably be faster too and with 10-15 minute of limit  on time, I won't worry too much about escalating standard expectations.

At this point I have a few illustrations about fermentation because they all involve bottles and liquids and days, so it was easy to copy-based the base 'objects' and add on them. I do need to go into depth with the easier topics, and then tackle the harder ones.

It'll be a tricky knot to untangle, coming up with ways to illustrate complex abstract and technical concepts, but that's what excites me about this hobby and the topic: by wrestling that beast, I can become a smarter person, while having a better understanding of the world, and helping others understand it better too.

All I need to do now is to understand the alphabet of art and illustration, the base themes and techniques used...Don't want to re-invent the wheel...
