My cousins are going on intense physical workout regimen, I'm scared and impressed at the same time

Earlier today I talked to ED who appears to have lost 34 lbs of her body weight in the last four months, has extremely lean body fat at 2% fat measurement which is actually beyond the healthy number for normal people IMHO, and is going to the gym to work out for between three to five hours. Hers and AD's diet is also extremely lean and full of proteins apparently, and she started a video call with me, she legit looks like a body builder, a strong-muscled body builder with little to no fat on their body. Their next goal is to do a 5k, and get even stronger, lose even more weight and gain some body fat, then finally figure out what they want out of life. Their workout life, that is. AD is apparently also not as involved but pretty close. That's all so intimidating as I'm still on my lazy walks and simple workouts. I'm scared and impressed at the same time.

Thinking if any of this is relevant to me, but besides being important for the proper maintenance of the body, it doesn't seem so. Going all-in is not how I work, just need to make a regular habit out of it, one that is impossible to miss otherwise your body will just physically be uncomfortable. That's better said than done though.

Now that I'm on the path to recovery vis-a-vis my legs, maybe I should look into preparing for a 5k as well?
