More Covid updates

I've stopped my covid updates because things got boring for a while and it looked like everyone was accepting this life for the foreseeable future. Now it's looking like the American president is in grave danger, a large part of the republican party could be seriously ill, and the repercussions of the disease could end up having long-term impacts.

So I'll come up with more predictions.

First, in the short term nothing's going to change. People will be people.

In the middle term everyone is going to freak out. If there's is a legitimate fear of the president just going because of the disease you surely stand no chance you need to be holding your shit together. No more parties of hundreds. People are getting tired, everyone knows that, but you've gotta stay by the rules. Or else. People know this already.

Depending on how much of this sticks, the elections could see a big impact of the disease, and hopefully the voters could reward the more reasonable politicians. Honestly if they don't, if the democrats don't vote for trump in both senate and presidency there's no clear future for this country. Thinking of going home for a few months.

It's scary and wild, but you must follow the rules. Strange for Americans, but you can't escape history and fate forever.
