new routes to volunteer park, the tower climb, coche valley gift to self, perfect weather, rice made in a pot because no other options, with sprouts, kimchi green onions, tofu ko kachaar and so many spices, oooh yeah
I write this on the evening of Monday, after running behind on everything and freaking out, things are almost fine now. There's much to be caught up on the website work but we will pretend it's all fine in those lands.
In the morning I walked to Volunteer park through 14th and 15th streets, seeing new houses and scenery, from new angles. Felt so fresh. The weather was perfectly crisp, my favourite cold-and-cloudy. As good as it got. At Volunteer park climbed the water tower, checked out the city vista, did a couple of 'weird' rounds, walked back a new route. Gave myself a treat at Coche valley, fell in love with the owner, the desserts were alright.
Avoided writing quite a bit and did hella lotta research on gel printing in the evening. Cooked rice in a regular pot because rice-cooker was being used, and it came out fine. The sign of adulthood is when one has mastered the art of cooking rice in multiple dishes, perhaps one can call themselves a full-fledged adult at this point. Had it with soy sprouts, kimchi, tofu ko tarkari from like a week ago, and multiple powdered spices. It was yummy, I'm good, alright.
Slept kinda late because kept pushing things later and later.
