Some amazing research progress made on Thwon recipes and contents

I will make this quick. Since it's almost 4am and I have a meeting at 10am this morning. I've been trying to find recipes for thwon online since forever, and have failed and it was frustrating. Discovered an english dictionary of the newa language and tried to search for keywords in there and made some progress. Then I found a newa dictionary that was searchable so made more progress there. Then I found a couple of articles with full recipes of all the different kinds of thwon, but I can't read it since it's in newa. And also it took me like 5 hours to decode the basic words and what they might mean. It would take a regular reader maybe five minutes. And I'm still not specially informed.

But, now I have a really good sense of where the resources for this lie on the internet. Plus I discovered a newari professor interested in cultural preservation at UW and sent him a quick email. If he's interested in the matter he'll reach out and there'll be interesting shit to talk about, if not, ah well no harm no loss we stay as things are. Hoping this will work out though, it could be the start of a grand career for me in terms of inspiring and guiding Nepalis to find their cultural identity,
