I bought the return trip tickets to Seattle from Kathmandu with only 36 hours to go for the flight. That's by far the closest I've ever cut. Technically it was a flight modification which the nice folks at Capital One Travel did on my behalf. And because I paid so much money for the trip orignally, I didn't even have to pay anything 'extra! So that was pretty rad! 36 hours tho, So wild and adventurous, right?
