Volunteer Park cafe, a review

I went to the world-famous Volunteer Park cafe over the weekend and got one of their cookies. This isn't really a review as much as...hmm...an impression. The cookie was fine, it was a $4 sugar cookie with peanut butter inside it. No laptops on weekends they said which was fine by me since I was there on a walk anyway. The crowd seemed chill, the lunches were small but kinda' mighty in price for the amount of food, and surely the taste can't have made for it. To be fair, the location and vibe is hella bougie and that's what you're paying for if you didn't know already.

This is a lovely little cafe that I now remember going to a year or two ago. Nothing to write home about, if I were a coffee-drinker who enjoyed the vibes of this sort of place, there would be more to talk about, but unfortunately here we are. Decent place, if you're around go there, why not.
