Good food, clean-shaven, long walk on the 'Skookhill' trail [Wed 1]

I write this exactly a week after because shit's fucked up and yikes this is hard and suddenly all my will and interest to do anything writing-related evaporated. It was wild guys, I tried to think it through to figure out what was wrong why this was happening, couldn't figure it out. Eventually a week after I'm back and thankstobegods we're going to do this. I'm writing this based on vague memory of the days that went by and the photos of those days that I took so if the following posts are a bit..thin, apologies, nothing can be done about that. Suck it up, browww.

Had an amazing lunch. Sticky rice, really well fried eggs with soft yolk on top, and the trader joe's paneer curry. Trader joe's curry are so good, this made me want to learn to make the creamy coco-nutty curry, so subtle not overwhelming or greasy like bad those at bad Indian restaurants. I don't like to make paneer I've only made it once maybe twice by myself and the curry made me want to make it more. The crispy egg went so good with the sticky rice.

After lunch I shaved, since this was going to be a 'Friday' for me. I took thursday off, friday was off due to independence day, so it was a 4-day weekend. Lowkey at work. I've only got my mustache remaining, much like in the 70's my friends think it's the 80's pornstar look but what do they know.

In the evening I went on the longest evening walk I've done. Hour and a half each way. Listened to Derry Girls podcast by three women from Derry, NI. Good stuff, loving the accents and the added context. "Say nathin' till you see a lawyer [Claude]" got so much more context. And the reason Pulp Fiction and Travolta are so big in Ireland.

Got back at 9.30, ish, probably went to bed a bit later. Who knows.
