I write this at half past one in the morning after this day. Really should have gotten this together and written earlier, but here we are, so here you go.
Got up at 8.15, cleaned up got ready and suddenly it was like 9 who knows what happened in between. Work was slow as has been the case lately, few meetings, the manager meeting was pushed to friday.
For breakfast I had yogurt with chia-amaranth-other-grains mixture, grainy sugar and berries. Lunch was two slices of bread with heaping bruchetta and parmesan cheese. Since that was not enough, I grated three potatoes, made hash-latkes and had them with ketchup. And then in the end of the day we had a massive pretty great indian restaurant meal.
Afternoon at work was pretty chill, showered in the middle of the work, such a boss move. Tried writing all day long but couldn't gather the motivation at all. After work spent looking twitter and reddit and feedly all the time, I do feel so very bad, all the self control and discipline is gone now besides writing here.
Around 7 went down two floors to help N's sisters with setting up their apartment. Helped with a few of their Ikea furnishings and how they're organizing their apartment. We headed out for dinner at about 8.15. We wanted to go to the Italian place called little nonna's -- I couldn't get a reservation there, but we found out that was because it was closed for the day. We were dazed confused, just ambling about when we saw this place called Indeblue, VA said we should go in, and we did.
Great, great idea. Wonderful British cuisine inspired by subcontinental food. We were full, it wasn't terribly expensive, and there was nothing that disappointed us there, over all a massive win. Came back, got MD's bed setup, chilled with them for a while, came back to the apartment at 11. N was tired so he went to sleep right away, I wasted two solid hours doing nothing, until finally starting to write an hour ago.
It's 1.30 and I'm finally done. If I wrote 2 more posts today, i could be done with 6 posts tomorrow, but not gonna happen. Just need to make myself wake up early in the morning and do it.
Which reminds me, gotta seriously work out. Like right now. Soon. My cardiac health will thank me, I'm so very out of shape.
