How the hell does everybody know everybody know everybody

BK has been my twitter friend for quite a few years now, we talk a few times a year on the phone but the conversations last hours. I'm checking up on her every so few months. We hung out with her and TD in Kathmandu the last time I was there, on several occasions and she seemed to have had a good time generally speaking.

RK I met from a completely different forum out of nobody, one of the reasons we became friends was because I was hoping to talk to somebody totally disconnected from all my other social groups so I could seed a new group of friends. It was last year as well. We planned on meeting but that didn't work out, we call sometimes but chat every so often. I followed her on twitter recently and got her to follow me too.

And then we realized that our common friend was BK. Apparently BK and she went to the same college in the valley, BK was best friends with her younger cousin whom she had a big fight with and now both the younger girls have blocked her on twitter. Also, apparently RK's dad taught all of them in college.

It was bizarre. I really thought these people were quite distanced away from all my social circles -- and each other's -- and there was no reason they'd know one another, but oh I was so very wrong. Well I guess since they're both on twitter, and from the same city it's not a big surprise they know each other, but still. A bit disappointing.

The most disappointing thing of all time is the curly haired angel, the singer of the most melodious tunes who also saves people's lives, who I asked out on a date the time before last when I was in Nepal, and she was like lol dude I'm too much for you haah, and whatever I'm like yeah alright bye. And then it turns out both RK and BK are like fangirling over her. And talk about her in half our conversations.

It's quite strange actually.
