Seven quick meals for when I'm feeling lazy

  1. Fried egg sandwich. Two slices of nicely toasted bread, not crispy or burnt. Generous lathering of hummus on one bread, spicy mustard or mayo on other. Add tomatoes a little bit of salt, cucumbers, pickles and top it with two fried eggs crispy on bottom runny in the yolk. Fancy!

  2. Hummus and carrots. Nice snacc. Exactly what it sounds like.

  3. Fruit and yogurt. Won't be super filling and won't last as long. It's healthy and you don't have to put in too much effort. If you want to make it more filling add in granola.

  4. Apples dipped in peanut butter with chia seeds. The peanut butter fills you up apples are nice crispy and sweet, chia seeds for the fiber. If you're filling like rewarding yourself, cut up an avocado sprinkle salt pepper and honey and yum!

  5. Peanut butter and banana sandwich. Also known as the Elvis. Add slice or two of cheap American cheese slices and melt it in a toaster oven.

  6. Fruit smoothie with whatever fruits you might have, yogurt, non-daily milk, cashews and almonds, chia seeds and if you haven't had your dose of fibre, some oats. Just like that. Add peanuts if you're not afraid of fat and are okay with bulking up a little. No kale. You don't even need the fruits!

  7. Cheesy hashed potatoes and eggs. Hash some potatoes by cutting them into tiny slivers and shallow frying them. It's okay if they brown up a little. Salt the potatoes and leave to rest for an hour, and drain the water before if you have the time, that way your hash will be crispier. Throw in some scrambled eggs, and add melted cheese of any kind on top. Yum
