Kindle Scribe stopped working because of updates, and had a minor heart-attack

Quick post as it's half past one in the morning, and I haven't done much in the way of productive work in the past two days. We've had fun times, sure, for certain, but useful times? Barely any, mate, hardly ever. Which is why it's sleepy time, and this must be finished asap.

Right, Amazon HAS to figure out an easier and less scary way to update Kindle (scribe, more specifically). Because earlier today, my kindle wouldn't start for hours and HOURS, no matter what I did, even long-pressing the power button didn't work. Until it suddenly did. That's when I discovered it was another software update, that basically 'confuses' the device, and you have to restart it using a super complicated process to get it working again. Until then, I was grief-stricken, and couldn't get much done. Honestly, one of the reasons I don't have 10k steps for today is because I was too stressed out about my kindle, a bit more than what's the situation of the world in general anyway.

Right, the kindle is fixed, I'm relaxed, everything is going to be just so aiiiteee.
