Here's the plan: I'm feeling a bit burnt out. I don't see other human beings for weeks and weeks, and this is not healthy for me. I don't feel like working from my living room. If I had the option to, I'd probably be taking a long time off because ugh, my energy and motivation related to work is quite low because I'm burnt out. I think a change in scenery might switch things up. But I've said to myself I'll go to the office in the past, and not done it. Because Mondays start with my classes, and Fridays end with classes too. And Tuesday is a strange day to start a new habit.
What I can do: go to the nearby college and their working space on Mondays and Fridays. Eat breakfast (as I wrote about, go to the college and work for a couple of hours), chill, attend my class, come back, eat lunch and snacks, and do my other chores done. That way on Mondays and Fridays I'm not doing 'extra' walk, since I'd have to go there to take my regular classes anyway. I'll get to see people, find myself in a new space, and maybe even be motivated! Maybe even coffee shop or the library every so often...This will also give me anchors for the daily habits.
On Tuesdays-Thursdays, I'll just go to the office and work from there. Again, no extra walking except for one day a week, and I'll suck that up, it's fine, it's just extra thirty minutes of return time once a week. And in return I'll probably quadruple my motivation, and multiply my productivity multiple-fold.
That's the idea. I have been less successful in implementing it in the past. Fingers crossed for this round.
